Cardiff 101 Main Street is proud to partner with the City of Encinitas to present the 12th Annual Cardiff Dog Days of Summer. This FREE event features over 200 dog-related vendors and rescue groups, pet adoptions, live music, dog contests, kids activities, beer & wine garden, food trucks and more!
New this year, the event will be held at the Encinitas Community Park next to the Maggie Houlihan Dog Park and will feature a carefully curated “Maker’s Market Row” where you can find quality handmade goods and connect with local artisans. The event will also feature a “Rescue Row” presented by Rancho Coastal Humane Society and Pet Health Expo presented by the City of Encinitas.
We’re excited to expand our dog contest categories at this year’s event. Does your dog like to strut its stuff? Enter one of 6 categories: Cutest Puppy, Best Looking Big Dog, Best Looking Small Dog, Best Trick, Best Dressed and Dog/Owner Look-A-Like. Compete to take home a ribbon for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place and a goodie bag of cool prizes. Registration is the day of the event from 11:45am-12:15pm $5 cash or $6 credit per entry. Dog Contest will start at 1pm sharp!
This is a dog friendly event and we welcome our four legged friends but be aware that all dogs must be on leash (6 foot) at all times at the park (except within the Maggie Houlihan Memorial Dog Park area). We also ask you to be respectful of the park and clean up after pets. Thank you for being considerate pet owners!
